3. Joint Meeting with the School Board and Audit Committee
   Minutes: Cindy Adair, Audit Committee Chairperson, introduced the Audit Committee Members and briefly summarized the status of the final audit plan.
   
   Mr. Moore provided Board Members with a status update on the ERP project.
   
   Lung Chiu, District Auditor, reviewed the Types of Audits, which included: Special Requests; Charter School Audits; General Funds Audit; and Performance Audit.
   
   Mrs. Burdick questioned if there was a follow up site visit on the listed charter schools for health and safety issues and if so, have the issues been resolved. Ms. Killets responded that the inspections have been continuous and are well documented.
   
   Mrs. Burdick questioned if criminal background screenings have been completed at Joseph Littles Nguzo-Saba. Juanita Edwards responded that she will verify the end of the year review and provide a follow-up report to Board Members.
   
   Ms. Adair reviewed the following: Internal Funds Audit School Audit Ranking; Internal Funds Audit; Internal Funds Audit Major Findings for 2005; Remedial Actions/New Procedures in Response to Audit Findings; and Audit Approach and Current Focus.
   
   Mr. Chiu summarized the Projects for the 2006-2007 Audit Plan.
   
   Board Members discussed: School Aged Child Care; benefits of the Auditor reporting directly to the Board; additional funding for charter school audits; hurricane damage reimbursement; and Lake Worth High School flea market.
   
   Mr. Graham suggested scheduling semi-annual meetings with the Audit Committee and Board Members.
